Its only spring, but in the 80's. Halo seemed really miserable today and just panted while lying on the floor for hours, so I stuck her in the shower (which she didn't enjoy), and then sat with her in front of a fan for a while. It made her perk up for a while until she got too hot again. I also gave her ice cubes, and made sure she always has a ton of cool water to drink. Is there a way to keep her from being so miserably hot? I don't take her outside during the hottest part of the day unless she needs to go potty, because her fur is black, and I don't want her to overheat.But I do take her for walks after the sun starts to set and it has cooled down.
