Leaving Shiba at home for how long?

Recently got a new job, my She-Ra is about 5 months, She will be home alone for most of the day in a play pen,
Anybody have a similar experience and if so, how did it go? I work like 1 mile down the road, so i can come back and forth while on lunch or break.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
