My Shiba...is beyond words. He has such a personality it boggles my mind.
So this week, his new thing is eating grass. He has never done anything other than pull grass roots up out of the ground for the fun of it, but now he is actually seeking out tufts of grass and eating it, like a little Shiba Goat.
I have no idea why. I have heard that sometimes dogs eat weird things if they are lacking something in their diet.
I feed him Blue Buffalo Dry food, the chicken and rice flavor. I also give him Canyon Creek Ranch Chicken jerky treats, usually one a day. So he eats well.
Am I not feeding him something he needs? Or is he just a typical Shiba and decided eating Grass is fun?
He weighs 28 pounds and looks healthy to me. He'll be 2 years old in September.
